Submission Guidelines, Suggestions, and FAQs

How do you submit your work to Pen of Iron?

When submitting your work to Pen of Iron, please keep a few things in mind:

All work must be original. Keep the content of your submitted work rated PG-13; if you wouldn’t want a third grader to read it, don’t submit it. Pen of Iron reserves the right to correct grammar/structure issues with submitted works; if you don’t feel comfortable with this please note it with your submission, keeping in mind that could the acceptance of the piece, depending on the gramatical quality. The author must obtain permission of all people mentioned in writing, depicted in pictures or artwork, or displayed in photos for submitted work to be published. Please choose from among your best work; we don’t want to be bombarded with 20 poems from one person. All submissions will be judged for publication anonymously to insure there is no bias in the selection process. Upon request, we will publish an authors work anonymously. However, we accept no anonymous submissions!

Let's repeat that for emphasis:

We will not accept work submitted anonymously! Absolutely no exceptions, whatsoever!
